Published by Magnum Photos and Aperture Foundation, New York. Excellent / Mint condition with no visible defects, never framed or displayed. GREAT GIFT ITEM!!!This beautifully printed archival print was sold by Magnum for only 7 days in the Fall of 2021. The prints were issued in an un-numbered limited edition (limited to the number of prints purchased during the days in which the sale was open to the public). They were then carefully printed to the highest standards and signed by the photographers. As such, these are sure to become highly collectible photographs given the provenance linking them directly to the Magnum collective and each of the photographers who chose to participate in the event. Richard Misrach’s photographs are held in the collections of most major institutions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Museum of Modern Art, New York, which recently acquired nearly 100 of the artist’s works for its permanent collection. He has had one-person exhibitions at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., the Art Institute of Chicago, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, and the Musee d’Art Moderne, Paris. In addition, Richard Misrach’s work has been the subject of more than 20 monographs.
