Northern Tamandua Anteater Hunting 2
I was hiking along a river, hoping to photograph toucans when I saw a movement up in the trees. Just by happenstance I had stumbled across a Northern Tamandua Anteater looking for grub. She eventually found a large ant colony, but only ate a portion before sliding down the tree on her belly.
Howler Monkey and Mangos
I was actually walking towards to beach to shoot a different subject, when I heard a group of howler monkeys close by. The sun was setting and as it cooled down for the night, six or seven of the monkeys came down from the canopy to eat the mangos that were up for the taking.
