This is a lot of two cards containing seven photos in all, one of which is like a postcard. Grey card-stock sheet with photographs pasted down on both sides. Both depict Italian Renaissance sculpture and both wer photographed in the 1800s (19th Century), presumably for purchase by a Grand Tour traveler or student. Description of the card on left, unframed: Folio side: Photographer Giacomo Brogi (1821-1881) Photograph depicts CANTORIA del DONATELLO of the Museo De S. Maria Del Fiore. Photograph itself measures at 25 cm X 18.5 cm. Surface has paste marks seen in skewed perspective photos. Verso side: post card that also appears to have a silver or platinum sheen but more matte. Photographer is G. TILLI (active in Perugia 19th Century). Measures 9 cm x 13.8 cm Text states: “L' UMBRIA ILLUSTRATA PERUGIA – Dettaglio della Facciata della Chiesa di S. Bernardino Opera di Agostino Ducci da Firenze – 1461 RIPRODUZ. INTERDETTA STAB 6 TILLI – PERUGIA 257″ Description of the card on right, also unframed.
